A tarot birth card profile is calculated from your date of birth. In the widely used birth-card pair approach, most birthdays show a Personality Card and Soul Card, while the 19 path is read as the three-card Sun, Wheel of Fortune, and Magician profile. Unlike a daily draw that changes with the day, this profile stays with you for life. It gives you a stable framework for understanding long-term personality patterns, choices, and growth themes.

The calculator uses the common MM + DD + century (the first two digits of the year) + YY method. If the first total is three digits, the first two digits are treated as one number and added to the last digit. A two-digit path then reduces to a Soul Card, such as 10/1 for Wheel of Fortune and The Magician. If the first reduction is a single digit, its two-digit companion is implied, such as 17/8 for The Star and Strength.

When something specific is on your mind, bring that question, draw one focus card for it, and get a personalized reading that interprets the focus card through your Personality, Soul, and Hidden Teacher cards.

Tarot birth cards and numerology both start from your birthday, but they map the date into different symbolic systems. The arcana calculator gives you Major Arcana archetypes; the numerology calculator gives you life path patterns. Comparing them can show where two systems reinforce the same strengths, tensions, and growth areas without blurring the meaning of either system.

Type your full date of birth into the calculator. The calculation reads the birthday as month, day, the first two digits of the year, and the last two digits of the year.

The calculator reduces those four birthday parts into a Major Arcana path. Most results become a two-card Personality/Soul pair, while the 19 path becomes a three-card profile.

Split the birthday into four parts: month, day, the first two digits of the year, and the last two digits of the year. Add them as MM + DD + century + YY. If the first sum is three digits, treat the first two digits as one number and add the final digit. If the result is two digits, keep it as the Personality Card and reduce it again for the Soul Card.
Example: January 2, 2023 becomes 01 + 02 + 20 + 23 = 46. Then 4 + 6 = 10, and 1 + 0 = 1, so the birth-card pair is 10/1: Wheel of Fortune and The Magician. If the calculation reaches 19, it is kept as the 19/10/1 trio: The Sun, Wheel of Fortune, and The Magician.
Your arcana path is the calculated number sequence in the Major Arcana system, such as 10/1 or 17/8. Your tarot birth card profile is the card pair or trio attached to that path. People often use the terms together because the number gives the method, while the cards give the symbolic archetypes.
Tarot readers use more than one calculation convention. This page follows the common birth-card pair approach used by many public calculators: it keeps two-digit paths as a Personality Card and Soul Card, such as 10/1 or 15/6, and keeps the 19 path as the three-card 19/10/1 profile.
