What Can a Free Divination Calculator Tell You?
A BaZi calculator, sometimes called a Four Pillars calculator, takes your birth year, month, day, and hour and translates them into eight Chinese characters: a Heavenly Stem and an Earthly Branch for each pillar. Those eight characters encode an entire elemental profile: which of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water are abundant in your chart, which are missing, and how they support or control one another. The single most important output is the Day Master, the Heavenly Stem of your Day Pillar, which tells you the central element of your chart. Everything else in a BaZi reading is interpreted in relation to that Day Master. You do not need an astrologer to pull the raw chart. A free calculator is enough.
A numerology calculator works on a completely different foundation but serves a similar purpose: it reduces the numbers in your birth date and name to a small set of core numbers, each of which is associated with a set of themes. The Life Path number, derived from your full birth date, is the headline number. It is read as the path you are most naturally travelling. Expression, Soul Urge, and Birthday numbers refine that reading from different angles. Angel number calculators extend the same logic to the short repeating sequences people notice in daily life, such as 111, 222, 333, and 1111, then give each sequence a thematic meaning rooted in numerology tradition.
A Tarot Birth Card calculator is the most compact of the three: it takes your birth date and, through a fixed arithmetic reduction, maps you to one or sometimes two Major Arcana cards. That card is then read as your lifetime archetype, the energy the Tarot says you are here to learn. Chinese astrology calculators round out the picture: you can look up your zodiac animal from your birth year, check yearly forecasts, and explore Five Elements cycles. Every calculator on this page is free to run, and each one gives you a different piece of a larger self-portrait.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are these divination calculators really free?
- Yes. Every calculator on this page is free to run, with no sign-up and no paywall. You can generate a Four Pillars chart, a Day Master, a Life Path number, or a Tarot Birth Card without creating an account. Paid readings are optional named products for people who want a longer written interpretation.
- What is the difference between a BaZi Calculator and a Four Pillars Calculator?
- They are the same tool under two different names. BaZi literally means "Eight Characters" in Chinese, and it refers to the four pairs of Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch, one pair each for your birth year, month, day, and hour, that together form a traditional Chinese astrology chart. English-speaking astrologers tend to call this a Four Pillars chart, because there are four pillars: Year, Month, Day, Hour. Our BaZi Calculator uses the same lunisolar engine a professional BaZi practitioner would use, so you can safely search for either term and arrive at the right place.
- Which calculator should I use first?
- If you already know your birth date and time, start with the BaZi Calculator. It produces the fullest Four Pillars chart and is the best foundation for further readings. It also shows your Day Master, so you do not need a separate tool for that single field. If you want a one-number answer, use the Numerology Life Path Calculator. If you are curious about Tarot archetypes, the Tarot Birth Card Calculator is the fastest way in. There is no wrong starting point: each calculator answers a slightly different question, and the decision matrix above walks through which question maps to which tool.
- Do I need to create an account to use the calculators?
- No. The free calculators run without sign-up. You enter your birth details, the calculator computes the result in your browser or on our server, and you see it immediately. An account is only needed for private paid reading access and billing.
- How accurate are these divination calculators?
- The computational side is as accurate as the underlying engine. Our BaZi Calculator uses a lunisolar calendar with true solar time correction, the same calendar a traditional practitioner would use, and includes your Day Master as part of the full Four Pillars chart. Numerology reductions are deterministic arithmetic: given the same birth date, you will always get the same number. Tarot Birth Cards are computed from a fixed mapping of birth date to Major Arcana card. What a calculator cannot do is replace the interpretation stage. Turning those numbers and elements into guidance is where our AI Reading product comes in.
